The Roambi iPhone Application is installed through the iPhone App Store. You can access the iPhone App Store through iTunes on your PC, or on your iPhone directly. Don't worry - you won't be charged.
  • What are the requirements for running Roambi on my iPhone?

Roambi version 2.0 requires any Apple iPhone, iPod Touch, or future Apple mobile device that can run Apple iPhone OS 2.2.1 or later.

  • Can I share Roambi files with other people?

Yes, in fact you are encouraged to do so. Send them an email directly from Roambi for iPhone or from Roambi Publisher.

  • How do I email reports to my friends? What if they don't have Roambi?

You can send your friends an email from the Roambi Publisher or directly from your iPhone. The Publisher will provide the email option during your final publishing step. From the iPhone, you can tap "Email Roambi" from the information page of the Roambi file. If your friends don't have Roambi, the email link will redirect them to the Apple iTunes App Store where they can download Roambi.

  • Is the data secured on the iPhone?

You can protect your data by setting a password for your iPhone or iPod Touch. You may also leverage other best practices for protecting your data. For corporations, we encourage you to use the Apple iPhone Configuration Utility (available for Windows or Mac OS X).
  • Are my Roambi files stored locally on my iPhone? Can the information be refreshed?

The Roambi files that you have downloaded are stored locally on the device. Because files are stored locally, you can interact with your Roambi files without an Internet, 3G, or Edge connection. Roambi files connected to Salesforce and Roambi Enterprise users can create Roambi files with the ability to refresh their data.
  • What is the difference between the Roambi Library and Roambi Connect?

The Roambi Library contains all of the Roambi files that you have downloaded to your iPhone. You can access them anytime, anywhere. Roambi Connect allows you to download new Roambi files from different Roambi Accounts.
  • How do I know what version of Roambi I am using?

On your iPhone or iPod Touch, go to Settings. Tap on the Roambi section.
  • How do I delete a Roambi?

There are two options to delete a Roambi. The first option will delete the Roambi from your iPhone only but you will still be able to download it again. This iPhone-only delete occurs from the "All" folder in the Roambi Library. The second option will delete the Roambi from your iPhone AND permanently remove it so it cannot be downloaded again. This complete delete occurs from the "My Roambi" inside of your Roambi Connect account. For either option, the action to delete is the same. Swipe horizontally across the Roambi file you want to delete. The delete icon will be visible. Tap delete. To exit the deletion mode, tap anywhere on the screen other than the delete button.
