  • How can I change the color of my chart in Trends?

    In the Publisher, go to the Chart Options tab in Refine section of Step 2. This tab provides an option that allows you to change the color of your chart.

  • How can I add a new category to my Trends layout?

    In the Publisher, go to the Layout tab in the Refine section of Step 2 and click on 'Add Category'.

  • How do I change the colors for each KPI under one Category in Trends?

    Simply select each KPI individually and modify to the color of choice.

  • Can the Trends view support different data types?

    Yes, the Trends view can support different types of numerical formats. Each format shoud be grouped into different categories.

  • Is there any way to multi-select the KPIs and change color coding in Trends?

    Yes, under the options tab, you can change the color coding of the all KPIs simultaneously which belong to a common category/group in one step by selecting the grp title and then choosing the code.

  • What is the maximum number of periodicities in Trends?

    There is a maximum of 5 periodicities.

  • How can I enlarge the Trends charts?

    Rotating the device (iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad) horizontally renders a chart in landscape mode.

  • How can I convert my Trend to other types of charts?

    Trends only supports Area and Stepped charts. The option is accessible from the library icon on the bottom left of the tool bar by clicking 'Charts'.

  • How do I change my Trends on phone?

    To change the trends, rotate your device in the Landscape mode then tap on the Trend icon on the top right which will pull down the list of Trends that you can set for your KPI.

  • How do I change color coding in the Trends view to show hotspot color as green when there is a negative Variance?

    You can change the color coding of a hotspot by selecting "Up is GOOD" or 'Up is Bad" or neutral".

  • How is variation calculated in Trends?

    Variation is nothing but the positive or negative change between current period's data(latest data point) and the data point before that. Example: If current data point is from 1999 (and data value is 100) and the data point before that is 1998(and data value is 90), then there is a positive variance of value 10. %age increase will be 11.11%.

  • Can I display more than 100 data points with a step chart in Trends?

    The Trends view can only chart a max of 100 data points for stepped chart.

  • Can I bookmark on different KPIs on different Periodicities in Trends?

    Yes, bookmarking on different KPIs in different periodicities is possible.
