How Roambi ES4 Works

Designed from the ground up for the mobile environment, Roambi Analytics ES4 is comprised of three major components: the Enterprise Server software, the Roambi Publisher, and the Roambi Visualizer app.



1. Roambi Enterprise Server

Roambi ES4 tightly integrates with a wide range of Business Intelligence (BI) systems and data sources, including OLAP cubes. (See "Specifications" below for more detail.)

It leverages the native BI source system API for connections, security integrity, document retrieval and refresh - as well as document level metadata. This allows Roambi ES4 to publish Roambi files (the interactive visualizations) back to the Business Intelligence system where they are secured using the existing security infrastructure from your BI environment - eliminating the need to establish a new set of security rules.

2. Roambi Publisher

The point-and-click Roambi Publisher quickly transforms business reports and data into elegant and immersive mobile analytics, instantly delivered to any iPhone or iPad. It lets you create your mobile visual analytics from award-winning Roambi Views (templates) that dramatically reduce visualization design time. It also gives you the ability to access and view Roambi visual analytics within a web browser, giving end-users a single user interface regardless of the data source or viewing device.



3. The Roambi Visualizer App

The Roambi Visualizer App is a native application on the iPhone and iPad that delivers user experience unmatched by browser-based mobile solutions. It lets on-the-go professionals quickly and intuitively view, analyze, interact with, modify and share their information. The Roambi Visualizer App also lets you store, manage and refresh your data right from the palm of your hand.
